Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement New Product Integration strategies to support the assembly processes of the New Glenn rocket.
- Create comprehensive manufacturing plans that translate engineering designs into operational hardware.
- Identify and deploy innovative methods to enhance quality, reduce costs, and optimize production schedules.
- Generate and modify work instructions to guide technicians and facilitate material planning.
- Analyze production costs and schedules to assist management in strategic decision-making.
- Plan workflow and equipment layout to maximize manufacturing efficiency.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring adherence to manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or related fields.
- Proficient in developing clear manufacturing work instructions for various processes including fabrication, assembly, and testing.
- Experience in quality management and root cause analysis for non-conformances.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and GD&T.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to support production activities, including lifting up to 40 lbs and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant fields.
- Experience in aerospace or launch vehicle manufacturing.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
