Position Overview:
The Production Support Technician plays a crucial role in facilitating manufacturing operations by preparing essential materials for production processes. This role involves utilizing various machinery and chemical processes to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components using a range of tools as per detailed work instructions.
- Load items onto suitable mandrels for efficient packing and distribution.
- Clean and deburr parts to maintain product quality.
- Operate diverse production machinery, including lathes, CNC machines, presses, and injection molders, to create product parts.
- Apply various chemical treatments, such as silicone and other coatings, to enhance product features.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of finished and reworked components.
- Assist in shipping operations, including labeling and packaging of products.
- Perform minor machine setups and cross-train in different departments as required.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
This role requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. It is an entry-level position suitable for candidates with 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.

Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in using hand tools such as pliers and wrenches.
- Basic understanding of blueprints and work instructions.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Fundamental math skills for interpreting work instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various machinery.
- Knowledge of materials and their requirements.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with nonconforming material procedures.

Work Environment:
This position is situated in a manufacturing facility, requiring prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and various physical activities throughout the shift. Candidates must be able to handle products of varying sizes in a dynamic and potentially noisy environment.

Health and Safety:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses must be worn at all times on the production floor. Appropriate PPE is required for all tasks performed.
