Job Summary

Hendrickson USA, L.L.C. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing equipment productivity, improving system reliability, and providing support to production associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair all buildings, machinery, and equipment, as well as tooling and fixturing required for manufacturing operations.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs on all work centers and equipment, instructing operating personnel in proper daily procedures.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with outside vendors to determine proper stocking levels for tool crib items and maintain those levels.
  • Safety and Compliance: Participate in the safety committee, correcting all conditions or procedures that are unsafe or not in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Troubleshooting and Installation: Troubleshoot equipment problems, identify areas for improvement to reduce downtime and increase efficiency, and install and debug new production systems.
  • Manufacturing Engineering Support: Assist manufacturing engineering in the pilot of new equipment and develop preventative maintenance programs for all production systems.
  • Operational Support: Operate new equipment as required, making suggestions and improvements to systems, and perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field, or minimum of 1 year toward associate's degree plus at least 5 years of related technical experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, experience in a MIG welding environment, mechanical aptitude, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, results-oriented with a strong sense of personal responsibility, and professionalism and integrity to communicate and work with employees at all levels of the organization.
Physical and Environmental Demands
  • Physical Demands: Standing, balancing, walking, reaching, climbing, grasping, bending, cervical spine motion, kneeling, and fine manipulation.
  • Environmental Conditions: Non-environmental controlled environment, dust/debris, oil, and noise.
Behavioral Traits
