Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology Technologist PRN will assist interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional Radiology and Vascular surgery, including oncology, vascular, and trauma. The ideal candidate will have a strong skill set and be able to maintain supplies and instrumentation associated with interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians in the capacity of both a scrub and circulating technologist
  • Maintain work area, reporting maintenance issues for equipment and monitoring supplies and deficiencies
  • Adhere to all Infection Prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed
  • Maintain licensure and BLS, staying current and participating in departmental training offered
  • Demonstrate courteous behavior, positive attitude, and provide good customer service
  • Participate in clinical activities, assisting with patient flow and care, and optimizing throughput of patients via Radiology Transport
  • Remain compliant with timekeeping rules and adhere to Departmental procedures

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular Interventional Technology preferred
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved program for Diagnostic Radiology and registry eligible
  • NJ DEP license required upon hire
