Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

RTG Medical-Allied is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Rochester, New York.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services in an interventional radiology setting. This includes preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography machines
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and draping
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in the state of New York
  • Experience in interventional radiology or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
