Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist PRN to join our team. The successful candidate will assist interventionalists in procedures within the scope of interventional Radiology and Vascular surgery, including oncology, vascular, and trauma cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong skill set to handle supplies and instrumentation associated with interventional procedures, and will be able to assist physicians as a scrub and circulating technologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist interventionalists in procedures within the scope of interventional Radiology and Vascular surgery
  • Handle supplies and instrumentation associated with interventional procedures
  • Assist physicians as a scrub and circulating technologist
  • Maintain work area, report maintenance issues, and monitor supplies and deficiencies
  • Adhere to Infection Prevention policies and utilize appropriate PPE
  • Maintain licensure and BLS, and stay current with departmental training
  • Demonstrate courteous behavior, positive attitude, and provide good customer service
  • Participate in clinical activities, such as assisting with patient flow and care
  • Remain compliant with timekeeping rules and adhere to Departmental procedures
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular Interventional Technology preferred
  • Graduate of AMA-approved program for Diagnostic Radiology and registry eligible
  • NJ DEP license required upon hire
