About the Team

The Customer Success (CS) team at Stripe is pivotal in driving revenue growth across go-to-market strategies by assisting a diverse range of users in activating, expanding, and optimizing their performance on Stripe.

Your Role

We are in search of enthusiastic and inquisitive Customer Success Managers to help develop Stripe's scaled Customer Success Advisory approach for our Commercial segment. You will have a distinctive opportunity to influence how we support customers in this segment and define strategies to create substantial impact at scale.

Advisory CSMs will engage with a portfolio of customers in the Commercial segment to ensure their success, growth, and maximization of their investment in Stripe. The ideal candidate will be a builder—analytical and creative—who enjoys both designing and implementing new processes. This role necessitates close collaboration with sales, partner managers, and operations teams to engage customers in discussions regarding product, payment, technical, and risk matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and execute processes to operate efficiently with users across the Commercial segment.
  • Oversee the overall account health of Commercial customers through proactive outreach and operational support.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on payments and product matters for managed customers by delivering digital content and insights on payment optimizations and industry trends.
  • Monitor a scaled portfolio of customers and implement proactive measures to avert issues and escalations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing capacity, ideally in customer success, consulting, financial services, account management, or sales, preferably with a technical product.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to comprehend the drivers and strategies of our users' businesses.
  • Proven track record of leading technical discussions and persuading stakeholders to take action based on requirements and the value of provided solutions.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to navigate data and engage with people to derive insights.
  • Strong operational discipline, including organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Strong business presence and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of individuals, both internally and externally, including working alongside sales and services teams.
  • Motivation and adaptability to thrive in a high-growth, dynamic environment.

Hybrid Work at Stripe

Office-assigned employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in a given month in their local office or with users. This approach balances the need for in-person collaboration and learning while providing flexibility in how this is achieved for individuals and their teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $124,900 - $187,400. For sales roles, this range reflects the role's On Target Earnings (OTE), encompassing both sales commissions/bonuses and the annual base salary. This salary range may include several career levels at Stripe and will be refined during the interview process based on various factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Candidates located outside the US may inquire about the annual salary range for their specific location during the interview process.
