Job Title: Aerodynamic Simulation Engineer

At SteelStone, we're seeking a skilled Aerodynamic Simulation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you'll be responsible for designing, simulating, and optimizing airflow in kitchen appliances such as air fryers and convection ovens.

Job Purpose:

Our ideal candidate will develop and implement simulation models for airflow in various kitchen appliances, collaborate with product design teams to integrate simulation results into product development, conduct tests and analyze data to evaluate performance and efficiency of designs, and use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools to predict airflow patterns and thermal effects.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement simulation models for airflow in various kitchen appliances.
  • Collaborate with product design teams to integrate simulation results into product development.
  • Conduct tests and analyze data to evaluate performance and efficiency of designs.
  • Use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools to predict airflow patterns and thermal effects.
  • Continuously improve simulation methodologies and techniques.
  • Document and present simulation results and design recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with latest developments in aerodynamics simulation and kitchen appliance technology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aerodynamics simulation or related field.
  • Proficient in CFD software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of kitchen appliance design and functionality.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • Experience in consumer product design and development.
Working Conditions:

Office environment in Brooklyn, NY. Regular office hours with occasional overtime to meet project deadlines. Collaborative atmosphere working closely with design and engineering teams.

Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 annually
