Job Title: Dialysis Registered Dietitian

We are seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to support our patients at Liberty Dialysis - Dimond in Anchorage, Alaska.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial Nutritional Assessments and develop personalized Nutrition Care plans for each patient.
  • Formulate and implement policies regarding patient and clinic nutritional processes.
  • Provide expert advice to patients, management, and physicians on nutritional issues.
  • Monitor patient nutritional progress, reviewing monthly lab results and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the multi-specialty team to develop long-term and short-term care plans for patients.
  • Design and implement education tools to enhance patient and staff knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate nutritional documentation and outcomes in accordance with clinical policies and government guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Must meet minimum education requirements for Commission on Dietetic Registration registration.
  • Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Registered Dietitian credential required.
  • Minimum one year experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian required.
  • Registered Dietitians with less than one year experience may be eligible for hire with supervision.
  • Current Alaska license or ability to license required.
  • Leadership ability and organizational skills.
  • Computer software knowledge.
  • Effective communication skills.
Physical Job Requirements:
  • Frequent long periods of standing, bending, stooping, walking, and sitting.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to travel to other clinics as needed.
