Job Summary

Gray Television is seeking a skilled Broadcast Facilities Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the studio and transmitter facilities, as well as assisting with the maintenance of technical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage studio and transmitter facilities, including minor carpentry, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
  • Assist with the maintenance of technical equipment, including a working knowledge of Windows networking and proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including basic electronics and electrical skills.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless operation of broadcast facilities.
  • Occasionally work nights, weekends, and during severe storms.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in IT, electronic technology, or related field.
  • Basic electronics and electrical skills.
  • Working knowledge of Windows networking and proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools to perform minor electrical, carpentry, and plumbing repairs.
  • Basic understanding of day-to-day facilities maintenance.
  • Curious mind and willingness to seek further knowledge of skills required to be a successful broadcast engineer.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to work at heights and lift up to 75 pounds.
