CQV CIP Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled CQV CIP Engineer to join our team at Quanta Services. As a CQV CIP Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the design, construction, and validation of CIP systems for large-scale biopharmaceutical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the review of design deliverables for CIP equipment, including drawings, datasheets, specifications, and engineering lists.
  • Generate CQV CIP documentation, including FAT wraparounds, DQ, RTM, QRA, SAT/IOC, and IOQ reports.
  • Act as the point CQV person for vendor review of CIP vendor packages.
  • Provide CQV SME support for all CIP systems, including the production of CIP bridging documents.
  • Support circuit reviews for all CIP routes and circuits, identifying worst-case scenarios for testing and cleaning requirements.
  • Liaise with the construction manager to ensure construction readiness and schedule for all CIP systems.
  • Support CQV review and approval of turnover packages, both vendor and contractor packages, within the process equipment support scope.
  • Liaise with the CQV SWAT team to ensure punchlist closure for all process equipment support systems.
  • Ensure commissioning readiness of all CIP systems to support equipment start-up and IOQ testing.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience with large-scale biopharmaceutical projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a CIP systems SME.
  • Working knowledge of ASTM E2500 and leveraging verification processes.
  • Experience with liaising with other departments and building PMs/leads.
  • Minimum 10 years of equipment experience, including experience with design and construction projects for biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience on equipment CQV teams.
  • Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of organization and planning.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communicating and collaborating with customers, vendors, equipment suppliers, and operations staff.
  • Proven success working in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on achieving overall project goals.
  • Computer skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, Visio, and Microsoft Project.
