Cardiac Anesthetist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Anesthetist to join our team at Emory University Hospital. As a Cardiac Anesthetist, you will be responsible for administering general and regional anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and non-surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer general and regional anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and non-surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients' physiological and pharmacological status
  • Interpret and record patient data
  • Assist in research projects
  • Establish multi-parameter monitoring of patients

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Master's Degree program
  • Licensed or eligible to practice in the State of Georgia
  • Certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) required
