About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Amergis. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students' communication skills to identify communication disorders and develop recommendations for treatment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support to students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
  • Provide training and education to parents and staff on communication strategies and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate records.
