Transportation Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Transportation Manager will oversee the transportation department, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of all PACE participants. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on managing daily operations and coordinating transportation services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule transportation staff, including drivers and coordinators.
- Assist in the daily scheduling and coordination of transportation services.
- Conduct quarterly meetings with drivers to discuss issues and provide retraining as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in PACE required meetings, including IDT, family meetings, and quality improvement meetings.
- Establish a positive rapport with participants, family members, and other members of the PACE care team.
- Address and resolve participant grievances in a timely manner.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement required.
- One year of experience working with the elderly required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Fluency in Korean language.
- Extensive knowledge of Koreatown and surrounding areas streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
- May be required to drive vehicles as needed.
- Must be able to travel out of town with overnight stays when necessary.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to push 50lbs and lift 150lbs minimum.
- Position requires working in a seated position while operating computer, keyboard, mouse, phones, and printers.
