About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated High School Spanish Teacher to join our team at SESI Schools. As a Spanish teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Provide academic, social, and emotional services to students who require additional support to succeed in school. Utilize SESI's proven instructional models, strategies, and curriculum to deliver high-quality education.
  • Assessment and Data Analysis: Conduct frequent and appropriate assessments to inform instructional plans and drive student outcomes. Use data to develop and implement targeted interventions and support students' academic growth.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with school teams, families, and colleagues to foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment. Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development: Design and implement skill-appropriate lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students. Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in language arts education.
  • Behavior Support and Intervention: Apply SESI's behavior support and intervention strategies to promote positive student behavior and address challenging situations. Implement de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint if necessary to maintain a safe learning environment.
  • Student Progress and Growth: Drive, record, and track student growth and progress toward goals. Develop and maintain required forms and files to ensure accurate student records.
