Job Summary

The Lead Aircraft Technician is a critical role within our team at Atlantic Aviation, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient daily maintenance of aircraft. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulations.
  • Leadership: Supervise and direct technicians on assignments, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate work progress and significant issues with the MX Operations Manager and other local management.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance performed is in accordance with the Repair Station Manual and complies with quality assurance standards.
  • Facilities and Equipment: Maintain the physical appearance and functional operation of all facilities and ground service equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • License: Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of industry experience, with prior experience as a Lead Technician or Supervisor preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
