Respiratory Care Assistant

Key Responsibilities- Assist respiratory therapists in providing routine care to non-critically ill patients in a hospital setting.
- Perform quality respiratory care procedures according to established departmental policies.
- Work under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner.
- Record patient information and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Currently enrolled in a Respiratory Care educational program approved by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
- Registered with the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board (NCRCB) as an RCA.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
Rotating shifts, working in a hospital setting, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
