Job SummaryThe Respiratory Therapist provides critical care services to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, administering oxygen therapy, nebulized medications, and managing airways. This role requires effective communication with the healthcare team and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Administer oxygen therapy and nebulized medications as prescribed by physicians
- Manage airways and provide respiratory care to patients
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and physicians to ensure patient care is aligned with treatment plans
- Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy
- 1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy (preferred)
- Associate's degree in respiratory therapy (required)
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification (required)
- NC Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) certification (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (required within 1 year of hire)
This role requires working 7p-7a shifts, with every third weekend and call requirements.
