Dental Assistant Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at a thriving dental practice. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Responsibilities:- Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment using appropriate sterilization techniques.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and process them for the dentist's analysis.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and other dental health topics.
- Prepare examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments and moving necessary equipment into place.
- Assist in office administration tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing patient billing.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including adherence to infection control protocols.
- Assist with or perform laboratory duties such as pouring and trimming models, constructing custom impression trays, and fabricating temporary restorations.
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure a positive, professional, and efficient patient experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program.
- Current Dental Assisting certification.
- Proficiency in dental software for patient record management and appointment scheduling.
- Excellent knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and infection control protocols.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to educate patients on dental health and hygiene.
- Ability to handle a high volume of patients with professionalism and empathy.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of office administration tasks, including scheduling, billing, and record keeping.
- Current CPR certification.
