Dental Assistant

Allaire Dental Care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care in a warm and welcoming environment.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists by assisting with a wide range of clinical procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking oral impressions for various dental appliances.
- Accurately recording facebow transfers and bite registrations.
- Mastering the placement and removal of rubber dams or other isolation devices to ensure a clean and controlled work environment.
- Proficiently placing, wedging, and removing matrices for restorative procedures, contributing to precise and efficient dental restorations.
- Assisting in post-extraction care by removing dressings after the supervising dentist has inspected the surgical site.
- Utilizing light-curing devices to effectively cure restorative or orthodontic materials within the operative site.
- Collaborating with the dentist to examine and seat removable orthodontic appliances, providing clear instructions to patients on their care and maintenance.
- Removing periodontal dressings after inspection by the supervising dentist.
- Assisting in suture removal following a dentist's examination of the site.
- Placing patient monitoring sensors to ensure continuous patient well-being during procedures.
- Monitoring patient sedation levels, including reading and transmitting information from the monitor display for electrocardiogram waveform, carbon dioxide and end-tidal carbon dioxide concentrations, respiratory cycle data, continuous noninvasive blood pressure data, or pulse arterial oxygen saturation measurements. This information is crucial for interpretation and evaluation by a supervising licensed dentist who remains at the patient's chairside throughout the procedure.
- Providing support in the administration of nitrous oxide when used for analgesia or sedation, always under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist who is present at the patient's chairside during these procedures.
