Position Overview:
We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist our dentists in providing exceptional dental care while ensuring our patients feel relaxed and well-informed. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including restorative work, cleanings, and examinations.
- Prepare the treatment room by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and office policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with patients.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using dental software and digital X-ray systems is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
