Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for providing competent, evidence-based medical care to patients. This includes interviewing, examining, and treating patients, as well as determining the level of urgency of follow-up care, referral/consultation appointments, and diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides competent, evidence-based medical care to patients
  • Determines the level of urgency of follow-up care, referral/consultation appointments, and diagnostic testing
  • Has a thorough knowledge of and experience with pharmacological agents
  • Educates patients on wellness, prevention, and the importance of early detection of disease
  • Exercises final medical judgment and assumes ultimate responsibility for the performance of mid-level medical and clinical nursing staff
  • Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs
  • Assists in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients

Working Conditions:

The work environment is a combination of office, exam, and other clinical settings. There may be exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, bodily fluids, and other conditions common to medical practice. Varied activities including walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and stooping.

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Awarded an appropriate Advanced Practice Degree from an accredited school with licensure to practice in the state of Tennessee
