Job Duration: 12 months

Shift: 12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year

Experience: We require at least one year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last three years in a labor and delivery setting. Preferably, candidates will have five or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery within the last two years, with a focus on high-risk labor and delivery.

License: A valid Registered Nurse License is mandatory for this role.

Certifications: Candidates must hold Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care to patients in labor and delivery settings.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care for mothers and newborns.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vital signs, and labor progression.
  • Assist with various labor and delivery procedures.
  • Educate and support mothers and their families throughout the childbirth process.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all healthcare regulations and guidelines.
  • Attend ongoing training and professional development to stay current in the field of maternal child health.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.
