Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and resourceful Engineering Project Specialist to join our iPhone Engineering Program Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling program logistics, materials, finances, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with product designers and engineering project managers to create and structure Bills of Materials (BOM) for development builds.
  • Manage material drives with upstream and downstream vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Oversee Purchase-to-Pay activities, including purchase requisitions, invoice tracking, and purchase order management.
  • Partner with product designers and engineering project managers to manage small parts budgets and maintain budget accuracy.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of supply chain management experience related to budget, procurement, logistics, and supplier/contract manufacturer management.
  • Able and willing to travel internationally if needed.
  • Off-hour support required via email, phone, or WebEx as needed.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of configuration management and experience in BOM structuring (preferably for hardware products).
  • Experience with PLM tools.
  • Ability to influence, effectively communicate, and drive deadlines with vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills.
