Job Summary

The Senior IT Strategy and Planning Manager reports directly to the System Manager of Strategic Alignment. This role is pivotal in identifying, analyzing, and monitoring factors that influence organizational strategy, planning, and operational frameworks. The manager oversees analytical and research initiatives that support the organization's strategic, short-term, and long-term planning functions. Responsibilities include data collection and conducting organizational assessments to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses while evaluating operational efficiency.

This position also involves designing and implementing methodologies to track and measure organizational performance metrics for planning purposes. The Senior IT Strategy and Planning Manager ensures that sanctioned IT investments align with the strategic vision set forth by the relevant Vice President. Engaging with senior leadership to clarify business objectives, capture and analyze requests, and assess strategic alignment and value is essential. This role is crucial for maintaining the health of business units within the organization, ensuring that approved IT investments align with divisional strategies and goals.

The Senior IT Strategy and Planning Manager is expected to operate independently with minimal oversight from the Director of Strategic Alignment. Through effective collaboration, this role demonstrates strong leadership while managing approved division IT investments and enhancing operational performance.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

● Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience

● 10 years of experience in IT

● Proven ability to engage and influence senior leaders

● Previous experience in strategy, planning, or organizational performance assessment is preferred

● Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred

● Experience in Healthcare IT is advantageous

● Familiarity with monitoring the health of divisional strategies and plans is preferred

● Working knowledge of EHR ecosystems, Data Integration, and Cyber Risk and Compliance

Pay Range

$74.91 /hour
