Position: Grow Your Own Grant Partnership Coordinator

Overview:
  • Oversee, execute, and facilitate the Grow Your Own Staff grant in collaboration with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and local educational institutions.
  • Act as a liaison with representatives from various educational and community organizations.
  • Assist in grant documentation and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations to monitor and support candidate progress.
  • Establish and refine policies and procedures for the program.
  • Coordinate support and retention strategies for candidates.
  • Participate in Partnership Steering Committee meetings.
  • Implement measures for monitoring program effectiveness.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree or higher in Educational Leadership or School Administration.
  • Proven experience in managing grant initiatives and budgets.
  • Background in teaching within a PreK-12 educational environment.
  • Understanding of Tribal consultation processes and Anishinaabe cultural practices.
  • Experience in educator preparation programs.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in managing organizational change.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with State and Federal educational programs and budget management.
  • Experience with public school financial systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
Reports to: Director of State & Federal Programs, Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent

Compensation: $50,000 to $60,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience
