Grants and Contracts Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants and Contracts Compliance Coordinator to join our team at Soaring Eagle Casino. As a key member of our Grants and Contracts team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with grant and contract requirements, performing complex financial analysis, and providing customized reporting to support budget justifications.
Key Responsibilities- Interface with grant agencies and staff to ensure programs are in compliance with applicable regulations and tribal policies.
- Assist with completion and oversight of grant and contract budgets, resolving variances, identifying problems, and making recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Grants and Contracts Director to verify costs are incurred within the grant period and meet grant and contract targets.
- Develop contracts for services and advertise bids for contracted services.
- Negotiate grant and contract agreements.
- Provide recommendations on terms and conditions of award agreements received from federal, state, or private agencies.
- Ensure program reports, including close-out reports to federal agencies, are submitted in a timely and efficient manner.
