Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at St. David's Medical Center. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in gathering diagnostic information through the use of radioactive materials and sophisticated radiation detecting equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Nuclear Medicine exams in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Administer prescribed pharmaceutical grade radioactive materials to patients, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct quality control checks on equipment and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure exceptional patient care and efficient completion of diagnostic studies and procedures.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and advancements.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT (N)) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • State Regulated Radiological Tech or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) through the Texas Medical Board.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred.
