Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tanks with necessary plugs, connections, and plumbing for functional operation.
  • Test, fix, and prepare dryers for the next process step, including leak testing and component swapping.
  • Prepare compressors with required fluids, perform visual inspections, and make electrical connections for proper pressure setup.
  • Operate pipe threader machines to create custom pipe diameters and lengths.
  • Use drill bits and follow schematics to make precise holes on skids for assembly preparation.
  • Install electrical boxes, conduit pipes, and components for wiring skids.
  • Assemble large equipment pieces on skids with peers and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Study job orders, travelers, and drawings to determine machining, welding, and assembly operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect subassemblies and finished products for quality, check mechanical assemblies for alignment and functioning, and work with the quality team to resolve issues.
  • Record inspection information and mark defective parts for repair.

Qualifications and Education:

  • A high school diploma or GED certificate is required.
  • The ability to interpret assembly drawings is essential.
  • One year of experience using hand tools and measuring tapes is preferred.
  • Military experience and training with an honorable discharge are advantageous.
  • A background and drug screen check must be passed.

Physical Demands:

  • The job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
  • Standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling are common activities.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds (and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance) is required.
  • The job involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and extreme temperatures.
  • Climbing equipment and ladders, lifting tools and components weighing up to 50 pounds is part of the job.
