Responsibilities
  • Assemble pipe joining, fittings, and valves per job specifications and blueprints.
  • Cut and groove pipe as required.
  • Log data into a computer to update progress.
  • Form and press gaskets.
  • Inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of assembly experience.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints.
  • Experience with hand and power tools.
  • Experience with valve assembly and mechanical equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with pipe joining, connectors, and related products.
  • Motivation.
  • Experience with pipe grooving and cutting.

Work Environment

You will be working in a clean manufacturing environment that is not climate-controlled but equipped with large fans. The facility includes assembly/fabrication and warehouse distribution areas, with about 12 total shop employees. The team includes CNC machinists, QC Technicians, Manufacturing Trainers, Assemblers, and Machine Operators. Standard work attire includes steel-toe boots, jeans, a work shirt, safety glasses, and a high-visibility vest. The work schedule is 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with possible overtime and weekend work depending on production needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Odessa, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $ $22.00/hr.
