Job Description

The Developmental Disabilities Support Worker will provide direct intervention for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in home, center, or community settings. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and clinical supervisors.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track client progress.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and clinical supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a human service field or related field with 24 upper division semester credits in human services.
  • 1040 hours of supervised experience working with individuals aged 0-21 with functional or behavioral needs.
  • Current certification in Habilitative Intervention or willingness to complete RBT training prior to start date.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and car insurance.
Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary: $22 per hour (DOE). Benefits package includes medical insurance, dental, vision, AFLAC, paid time off, holidays, and a 401K retirement plan with match.
