Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Critical Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing support to individuals in crisis, developing stabilization plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring physical and mental health disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized stabilization plans to address acute and chronic crisis situations.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, BCBA's, and psychologists to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Participate in hotline rotations to address acute crisis calls and provide timely interventions.
  • Participate in clinical trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary planning meetings to ensure seamless coordination of care and services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Sociology, or related field.
  • Experience in the human services field, with a focus on crisis intervention and support.
  • California driver's license in good standing and insurance.
  • Preferred experience working with the Developmentally Disabled population.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
