Job Description

Northrop Grumman is seeking a skilled Matlab software developer to support the development, production, and operational Space RADAR Payload programs. The Radar Tasking Model (RTM) team is responsible for identifying opportunities for requested payload tasking and generating the required commanding inputs to command the Space Radar Payload.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain RTM software in Object Oriented Matlab
  • Collaborate with the RTM team to identify opportunities for requested payload tasking
  • Generate commanding inputs to command the Space Radar Payload

Requirements:

  • BS in STEM with 5 years relevant experience or 3 years with MS
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access
  • Radar tasking modeling knowledge and experience required
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming in Matlab

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Experience with Space Sensor Payloads
  • Experience with RADAR performance modeling

Salary Range: $102,000 - $153,600.00

Salary Range 2: $127,000 - $190,600.00
