MATLAB Software Developer for Radar Tasking Model

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MATLAB software developer to join our team in Linthicum, MD, and contribute to the development of the Radar Tasking Model (RTM) for our Space RADAR Payload programs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the RTM software in Object-Oriented MATLAB
  • Collaborate with the Radar Tasking Model team to identify opportunities for requested payload tasking and generate commanding inputs
  • Work on-site in a classified program area
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math) with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance and ability to obtain SCI approval/access
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming in MATLAB and experience with radar tasking modeling
Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome candidates with experience in:

  • The Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Space Sensor Payloads
  • RADAR performance modeling
