Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Pediatric Surgery Clinical Team Lead to join our team at Phoenix Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the clinical operations of our Main OR, specializing in General Pediatric Surgery.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule from 0630-1500, with call requirements. We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $135,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Coordinate daily clinical operational activities of the unit and organization to ensure quality family-centered care is delivered in an efficient work environment.
  • Patient Throughput Management: Balance unit patient care activities while overseeing the delivery of patient care, including admissions, discharges, transfers, and routine clinical care.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Manage staffing processes, coordinate assignments using established staffing levels, and staff, schedule, and appropriately use nursing and support staff.
  • Unit Environment Management: Monitor the unit environment to ensure that staff has the necessary supplies, equipment, information, and resources needed to provide quality patient care in a safe work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of ONE YEAR of circulating nurse experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to promote a culture of learning.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
