As a subspecialist in hand surgery, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with a range of congenital and acquired conditions, including complex wounds and traumatic injuries.

Our team is fellowship-trained in Craniofacial Surgery, Pediatric Plastic Surgery, and Pediatric Hand Surgery, and we partner with the Mayo Clinic to provide unparalleled training and mentorship opportunities.

As a Pediatric Plastic Surgeon at Phoenix Children's Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to children and their families. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $350,000 per year, based on national averages for pediatric plastic surgeons in the United States. This compensation package includes a base salary, bonuses, and benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care services for which you are clinically privileged, including but not limited to: direct patient care services on an inpatient and outpatient basis, subspecialty consultations and follow-up, diagnostic and therapeutic services/procedures, and urgent/emergent care as necessary
  • Strive to achieve the best patient and family-centered care, support hospital patient satisfaction goals, and adhere to divisional patient safety and quality of care standards
  • Establish and demonstrate effort to achieve annual physician goals and objectives, support medical education programs and activities, participate in teaching rounds, lectures, and conferences for trainees, and conduct research initiatives
