Role Responsibilities:

The Mammographer I will operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic X-ray images as directed by physicians, while performing routine diagnostic tasks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating proficiency in radiographic practices and procedures.
  • Documenting patient care accurately based on clinical information.
  • Communicating effectively with patients regarding mammography procedures.
  • Monitoring patient status and reporting changes to the medical team.
  • Selecting appropriate technical settings for quality imaging.
  • Understanding and adhering to safety protocols and legal standards.
  • Maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development and education.

Candidate Qualifications:

Applicants must possess an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and hold RTR certification. Completion of a mammography course and registration in Mammography is required. A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team setting are essential. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
