Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team at FLC Contracting, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of commercial construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand project cost, estimate, and scope of work.
  • Develop and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Conduct regular jobsite meetings with owners and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes to all stakeholders.
  • Assist in weekly safety meetings and ensure subcontractors have a safety program in place.
  • Understand blueprints and assist with layout, material purchases, and scope of work clarification.
  • Make regular site visits to ensure quality of work and project timeline.
  • Coordinate with owners and architects on planning, commission meetings, zoning, and building permits.
  • Verify subcontractors have necessary registrations and paperwork in place.
  • Create subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Maintain and prepare change orders as needed.
  • Verify daily log reports are completed.
  • Assist with pre-mobilization activities and set up temporary utilities.
  • Fill out owner's data sheet and job cost sheet.
  • Assist with monthly billing and review job cost reports.
  • Assist field employees with time card accuracy.
  • Verify as-built drawings are completed.
  • Generate owner's manual for equipment installed.
  • Participate in weekly office meetings on manpower, equipment, change orders, and purchasing.
  • Market daily and represent FLC Contracting, LLC, subcontractors, and owners with respect.
  • Assist estimator with gathering quotes.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals.
