Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fish and Wildlife Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management and conservation of Oregon's natural resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue daily permits to hunters and record data
  • Patrol wildlife areas to ensure compliance with regulations and gather harvest data
  • Perform preventive and corrective repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds
  • Assist in the completion of monthly reports and other special reports as needed
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent work outside during inclement weather, long hours, and irregular schedules. You will be required to lift heavy objects and deal with the public, local residents, and other agency personnel.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in the use of hand and power tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
