Neurosurgery Nocturnist

Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nocturnist to join our Neurosurgery team at Emory University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our integrated academic healthcare system.
Highlights of the Role- Competitive salary range: $140,000 to $175,000 per year, depending on experience

As a Nocturnist, you will be responsible for assisting in the evaluation and treatment of patients, documenting patient care, and conducting patient interviews and histories. You will also perform physical examinations, specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and assist physicians in diagnosing medical problems and developing care plans.
Additionally, you will order and schedule laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures, and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- At least one year of direct experience in a high acuity clinical specialty
