Overview:

Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our Neurosurgery team at Emory University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our integrated academic healthcare system.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with complex neurosurgical conditions.
  • Conduct patient interviews, document patient histories, and perform physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement care plans, prescribe treatment, and order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of Georgia.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant by a recognized certifying body.
  • At least one year of direct experience in a high-acuity clinical specialty.
