Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare banquet spaces as directed by the supervisor.
  • Participate in pre-event meetings to understand function details, including guest and hotel expectations.
  • Serve food and beverages in the specified order and to the standards set by the supervisor to maintain consistency throughout the event.
  • Refresh beverages as needed and check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Swiftly clear dishes as guests finish each course or at the conclusion of the event.
  • Address guest special requests and resolve any complaints that may arise.
  • Comply with all local, state, and corporate regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Adhere to sustainability practices aligned with HHM's EarthView initiative.
  • Maintain safe working practices; utilize protective equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA guidelines.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in food service is advantageous.
  • Ability to memorize and articulate menu offerings.

Work Environment

  • Schedule may vary and includes working on weekends and holidays.
  • Position requires prolonged standing, walking, pushing, lifting up to 35 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
