Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Assistant I to join our team at McLean Hospital. As a Radiology Assistant I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our MRI department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation for patient MRI exams, including initial MR safety screening and obtaining pertinent clinical history.
  • Provide excellent patient care, greeting patients promptly and courteously, and assisting with changing clothing as needed.
  • Assist in setting up scan and exam rooms for upcoming exams, handling equipment with care, and stocking supplies.
  • Work closely and professionally with patients, MRI Technologists, and scheduling staff to provide a safe and positive experience for all.
  • Utilize Hospital and Radiology Information System, Epic, for safety review and documentation of exams related activity.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Work experience in a medical setting preferred but not required.
