Become a Key Player in Our Compliance Audit Team
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the auditing and evaluation processes of reinsurance entities to ensure adherence to financial and reporting standards. In this position, you will cultivate the analytical expertise and business insight necessary to conduct audits proficiently and identify discrepancies.
- Analyze and review contracts, underwriting, claims, and financial data in preparation for assessments of reinsurance entities.
- Engage in evaluations at reinsurance firms and/or Managing General Agent (MGA) locations, either in-person or through virtual means.
- Assess the precision and thoroughness of reports submitted by reinsurance entities.
- Detect the origins and implications of discrepancies and offer suggestions for remedial measures.
- Draft comprehensive written reports detailing the outcomes of reinsurance evaluations.
- Assist in the monitoring process for remedial actions stemming from evaluations of reinsurance entities.
- Participate in special initiatives under the direction of Account Services Management.
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:
- A bachelor's degree, ideally in accounting or finance.
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting.
- Competence in utilizing computer systems and software such as Access, Excel, or comparable tools.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- This role may involve 25-30% travel and could require occasional irregular hours.
