As the Shift Manager, you will oversee all activities during your designated shift. This encompasses managing costs, overseeing inventory, handling cash transactions, and ensuring excellent customer service. It is crucial to lead by example and adhere to all policies and procedures consistently, while expecting the same commitment from your team.
Your responsibilities will include: staffing management, documentation, cost oversight, cash handling, food quality management, adhering to schedules, maintaining a professional appearance, upholding standards, delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring attendance and punctuality, facilitating transportation, maintaining store cleanliness, engaging in marketing efforts, and driving profitability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

General responsibilities applicable to all team members:

  • Operate all necessary equipment.
  • Transfer ingredients from delivery areas to storage, workspaces, and coolers.
  • Prepare food products.
  • Receive and manage telephone orders.
  • Conduct inventory checks and complete related documentation.
  • Perform daily cleaning of equipment and facilities.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and provide accurate written instructions.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and colleagues to efficiently process orders both over the phone and in person.

KEY SKILLS AND FUNCTIONS

  • Proficient in basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with the option to use a calculator.
  • Capable of making accurate monetary change.
  • Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination for precise and rapid movements.
  • Ability to input orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen effectively.
