POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Shift Manager, you will oversee all activities during your designated shift. This encompasses managing expenses, overseeing inventory, handling cash transactions, and ensuring excellent customer service. It is essential to lead by example and adhere to all policies and procedures consistently, expecting the same commitment from your team.
Key responsibilities include: staffing, documentation, expense management, cash handling, food oversight, scheduling, maintaining a professional appearance, upholding standards, delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring attendance and punctuality, facilitating transportation, maintaining store cleanliness, executing marketing strategies, and driving profitability.

REQUIREMENTS

General responsibilities applicable to all team members:

  • Operate all necessary equipment.
  • Transport ingredients from the delivery area to storage, workstations, and coolers.
  • Prepare food products.
  • Handle and process telephone orders.
  • Conduct inventory checks and complete related documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities on a daily basis.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and provide accurate written instructions.
  • Engage verbally with customers and colleagues to efficiently process orders both over the phone and in person.

Core Competencies/Skills

  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations accurately and swiftly (calculator usage permitted).
  • Capable of providing correct monetary change.
  • Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills for order processing.
  • Hand-eye coordination to execute precise movements quickly and accurately.
  • Proficient in entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
