As a Structural Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and detailing various structures, including those made of concrete, steel, and masonry, for both buildings and distinctive constructions.
  • Evaluating existing structures and assessing proposed modifications.
  • Preparing comprehensive structural construction documentation, which encompasses drawings and specifications.
  • Conducting peer evaluations of designs and analyses performed by team members.
  • Performing material testing and investigating structural failures.
  • Implementing structural enhancements to reduce risks associated with high winds and flooding.
  • Carrying out inspections and compiling detailed field reports.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in structural engineering, specifically in the design, analysis, and detailing of structural elements such as steel, timber, and concrete, along with experience in finite element analysis.
  • This role may require occasional domestic travel within the continental U.S. to client sites as needed.
