Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at ANR Group Inc. Located at the Kennedy Space Center, FL, this role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex structural engineering projects.

Job Summary

The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for originating and checking complex structural engineering deliverables, such as steel calculations, specifications, and material requisitions. This role will also involve reviewing and coordinating technical documents with other engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and check complex structural engineering deliverables, including steel calculations, specifications, and material requisitions.
  • Review and coordinate technical documents with other engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction.
  • Prepare technical reports related to specific design issues.
  • Manage assigned project activities.
  • Assist in constructability reviews.
  • Support construction by dispositioning field change requests and nonconformance reports.
  • Act as a mentor or coach for subordinate engineers and designers.
  • Schedule and coordinate off-project review requirements for engineering deliverables.
  • Lead and/or participate in technical discussions with clients, suppliers, construction, etc.
Requirements
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Prior experience working complex concrete and/or steel designs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in the use of Mathcad or similar software.
  • Thorough knowledge of the provisions of AISC & ASCE 7.
  • Necessary skills to present technical subjects with competence and confidence.
  • Experience in resolving field problems associated with proposed changes from Construction and working through Non-Conformances.
  • Professional Engineering License.
