Engineering Project Manager for Wallet and Payments Services

Apple is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Manager to join our Wallet and Payments team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for planning, execution, and reporting of associated projects.
You will collaborate with other EPMs within the Wallet and Payment organization on cross-functional projects, as well as other groups within Apple. Your primary focus will be on running large-scale infrastructure and platform projects by identifying deliverables, managing risk, and improving our processes while working towards successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Support Infrastructure, Platform, and capability initiatives, working directly with engineering managers and cross-functional teams.
- Lead all aspects of project information including timelines, resource allocation, scope, and definition.
- Lead multiple cross-functional projects by providing project leadership and daily management through the project life cycle.
- Identify inter-dependencies between the various partner groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated.
- Navigate and complete tasks in an environment of ambiguity and lead teams to the successful delivery of solutions.
- Self-starter with 5+ years of strong experience in Infrastructure, Platform, and Traffic Network management with primary focus on Cloud offerings.
- Solid project management, organizational skills, technical competence, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through deadlines/projects simultaneously under minimal supervision.
- Experience at prioritizing features, and building technical roadmaps.
- Solid track record to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across various business units.
- Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills coupled with good business insight.
- Outstanding presentation, oral, and written communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization including external partners.
- Experience in Application integration preferred.
- Exposure to security and compliance areas would be a plus.
- Fundamental understanding of networking and traffic management components.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
