Position Overview

Are you prepared to be part of a dedicated team that contributes positively every day? Sigmatech, Inc. is on the lookout for highly qualified candidates for the role of Senior Cost and Pricing Analyst. This position will support a significant Army Acquisition Category (ACAT) I program.

As a key contributor, you will leverage your expertise to provide essential technical guidance and insights to fulfill mission objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting diverse cost analysis tasks to support Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE) and Program Office Estimates (POE).
  • Creating or assessing cost evaluations and positions concerning systems development, demonstration, and production strategies.
  • Evaluating the implications on systems and program expenses, including analyses of prototype systems.
    • Collaborating with other subject matter experts to formulate independent Government cost estimates (IGCE) that can withstand scrutiny at Army and DoD levels.
    • Compiling and reviewing Program Objective Memorandum (POM) inputs and presentation materials.
    • Coordinating and drafting budgetary impact statements, managing budget data calls, and defending budget proposals and presentations.
    • Assisting in the evaluation of ACAT programs, focusing on cost, budget, and earned value management (EVM).

Essential Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Economics.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in cost and pricing analysis for large-scale projects.
  • Recent, credentialed experience with ACEIT.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong affinity for numbers and solving complex challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Possession of a DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACE-IT).
  • Experience with Cost Assessment Data Enterprise (CADE).
  • Knowledge of Standard Accounting and Reporting Systems (STARS).
  • Understanding of Standard Finance System (STANFINS).
  • Experience with Program Optimization and Budget Execution (PROBE).
  • Proficiency in AKO, w/Insight, and General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
